On April 18, 2025, Smooth Group hosted the launch ceremony of its industry-academia collaboration project with Shenzhen University. Leaders from the School of Mechatronics and Control Engineering visited Smooth Group to jointly inaugurate this new partnership.

Attendees included leaders from Shenzhen University, key researchers, advisors, and Smooth Group department heads.

Deputy Party Secretary Deng Lin highlighted the potential of combining the university’s research strengths with Smooth’s market resources to foster deep cooperation in student internships, employment, technical research projects, and external mentoring. Both sides held in-depth discussions to define collaboration directions, with subsequent steps focused on aligning needs and planning specific projects.
